Why do we plant trees and how does our "green" business work?
When the first generation of our trees in Colombia grows up, we will offer the wood to those who use it as the main and necessary raw material for production. Our eucalypts and acacias will thus save a huge number of rare forest trees, which will continue to live as part of a valuable ecosystem.
Our trees help the planet breathe. They absorb carbon dioxide and improve air quality. Indirectly, they slow down global warming.
We will bring an alternative source of wood to the wood market, thereby reducing the rate of deforestation of the original forests.
